Badrinath is one of the most sacred Vishnu shrines in India, part of both the Char Dham and Chota Char Dham pilgrimage circuits. Nestled between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges, the temple has ancient origins and has been a major pilgrimage center for over a thousand years.
